Performance
jv16 PowerTools isn't bloated with graphics and sound effects
or any bells and whistles. Our goal has always been to create
software that does what it is meant to. The basic operation
requires only a normal home computer running any Windows operating
system. Some features, of course, demand a lot of processing
power, such as the duplicate file finder and the registry monitor,
but even they have been optimized to work as fast as possible
even on a slower computer.
User friendliness
jv16 PowerTools is a true example of a very user friendly application.
It allows you to use the program in your own language and not
just English, it allows you to define your own keyboard shortcut.
The program uses a non-standard user interface which is very
interactive, all the buttons and other items you can press change
their colour when the mouse pointer is over them and so on.
The program has a mode for people with difficulties seeing different
colours and the visually challenged can fully use the program
because it also supports a text only based user interface.
But the user friendliness is also under the hood, the program
doesn't integrate itself to your system if you don't want to.
It doesn't change your system's configuration or your files
in any ways (except that the version which comes with an installer
registers the jvb file type by default).
General usage
In the right hands, jv16 PowerTools is a very safe yet powerful
tool. Even the most novice users can take benefit from its power
if they just remember a few general rules. The most important
thing to bare in mind is that you are the one who always makes
the final decision, that's why it's very important that you
don't do anything with things you are not familiar with. Like
in jv16 PowerTools, if there's some items in the registry manager
or in the registry cleaner that you don't know it's always the
safest and the best option to leave those items alone. |
